Do you remember Valentine’s Day in fifth grade?
Valentine’s Day can be murder if you’re Marsha and Roger. This book would be funny to both boys and girls, because everyone has experienced the boy-girl rivalry that goes on in fifth grade. Roger Friday is a typical fifth grade class clown who immensely enjoys making the girls miserable; however, the new girl in town, Stacey Trinidad captures Roger’s heart. When he tries to deliver a semi-mushy valentine to Stacey’s mailbox, it falls into the hands of Roger’s arch enemy Marsha Cesseono, the average “cootie-infested” fifth grade girl. What follows proves for delightful entertainment, as more mixed up valentine mishaps become the talk of the fifth grade.
A FUN TO READ VALENTINE’S DAY BOOK!
A vivid imagination and talent is what it would take to write a book like this. The story kept my attention to the end. The plot is not predictable, as with a number of other books. The characters are well developed with unique personalities. I finished the book in a few days. I couldn’t wait to find out how Roger would get out of the mess he got himself into. I think you’ll be glad you bought this book! Great book Colleen!
